Vijay deverakonda talks about marriage plans at kushi trailer launch event - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Vijay Deverakonda was the star of the evening at the trailer launch event of his upcoming film, Kushi, on Wednesday, August 9, in Hyderabad, Telangana, where he interacted with the press, and opened up about his marriage plans. Addressing a question regarding when he will get married, the leading Telugu actor hinted that he might tie the knot in a couple of years. Vijay Deverakonda said, "I need to do it sometime soon. It's around the corner." Upon being asked whether he's scared of marriage, the Arjun Reddy actor opened up saying, "I've become more comfortable with the idea. Before, marriage was a word that no one was allowed to say around me. It would immediately agitate and irritate me. But now, I am having conversations about it."

Explaining how he's now open to the idea of getting married, Vijay Deverakonda added, "I'm enjoying my friends being married. I'm enjoying the happy marriages and the troubled marriages. Everything is entertaining. But, I hope to have a married life of my own and that's a chapter in life everyone should experience." Upon being asked if he has found a partner and when he plans to enter wedlock, the Dear Comrade star said, "I have been finding partners. I was just not ready for marriage. Maybe, in a couple of years. Will do… will do."

Last seen in Liger (2022), Vijay Deverakonda also spoke about the film not performing well at the box office and explained that he has had his fair share of flops during the 12 years he has been in the film industry. He told reporters, "When a film doesn't perform or work, it does hurt. I have experienced many flops in the past, and Liger is not the first one... That's the only way I can learn. I don't have institutions to guide me, I make my own decisions... What will I do with stars? I would rather have a hit with thumbs-down from critics." The actor added, "Success is failing and still moving forward and correcting the wrong things and doing them right. Life is what happens between them. I had 10 releases, I had 10 moments. I have lived for 34 years. Life is not about those 10 moments. Life is what I do between them and long after them."

Kushi has Vijay Deverakonda paired with Samantha Ruth Prabhu for the second time after they shared the screen in the Keerthy Suresh-starrer Mahanati (2018). Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under their Mythri Movie Makers banner, the upcoming Telugu film directed by Shiva Nirvana is also releasing in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, and features music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, whose songs in Hridayam (2022) turned out to be chart-topping hits.
