Three Kannada films for Indian Panorama

The 26 Indian films selected for the Indian Panorama of the 41st International Film Festival of India to be held from November 22 to December 2 in Goa include 3 Kannada films:

Girish Kasaravalli's Kanasemba Kudureyaneri (which also won the Best Regional Film National Award this year), Shabari directed by Prof. Barogooru Rama Chandrappa and Aidhu Ondola Aidhu directed by V.K. Prakash.

The films were chosen by a 10-member jury headed by film maker N. Chandra after previewing 140 movies. The inauguration of Indian Panorama will be on November 23.

Indian Panorama also has I Am Kalam and Wake Up Sid from Bollywood, Achin Paakhi, Abohomaan, Moner Manush and Ami Aadu from Bengali, Pail Te Sumbaran, Jhing Chik Jhing, Vihirand Mee Sindhutai Sapkal from Marathi, Deva Katta's Sharwanand starrer Prasthanam (Telugu), Athma Kadha, Angadi Theru and Raavanan from Kollywood, Mummy and Me, Makaramanju, Kaal Chilambu and Electra from Mollywood and Swayamsiddha from Oriya.

Besides these, a five-member jury headed by Siddharth Kak selected the 19 films in the non-feature films category. They are Incurable India, Leaving Home, Motorbike, My Daddy Strongest, Surang, Going The Distance, Mr. India, Kal,Dhruva Natchathiram, Seshasha, Numit Tadri, Rupban, Journey to Nagaland, Germ, Achtung Baby,Courtroom Nautanki, The Victims, Aval and Shyam Raat Seher.
