Blockbuster music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has completed 25 years in the film industry, has revealed that he is leading Tamil actor Vijay's son Jason Sanjay's favorite composer. Speaking at the '25 Years of Yuvan Shankar Raja' event on Monday evening, the chart-buster musician was queried about his meeting last year with 'Thalapathy' Vijay and the photo they had taken, which took social media by storm. Yuvan stated, "This is something personal that I wish to share with you all at this time. Vijay sir's manager Jagadish had sent me a photo. It featured Vijay sir's son wearing a T-shirt with the text 'Yuvanism'. I didn't know how to react after seeing it. I sent back a message saying, 'Fantastic, bro'. Later on, when I went to meet Vijay sir, he told me that he only had told Jagadish to send the photo of his son." Yuvan stated, "Vijay sir said, 'My son is a huge fan of you and your music.' Vijay sir made it a point that Yuvan must know about it and is why he had sent that photo to me. I didn't post it online because I felt it's very personal. It was taken for me and I was extremely happy about it."

The Vijay-Yuvan combo has been a fan favorite and one that many have been wanting to happen once again as the two have collaborated on a film only once - Pudhiya Geethai, in 2003. It is to be noted that the composer had sung the chart-buster 'Andha Kanna Paathaakaa' song composed by Anirudh Ravichander in Vijay's box office blockbuster Master released last year. Yuvan is fresh off the success from his work in Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu and Ajith Kumar's Valimai and the hit music creator's upcoming lineup includes Dhanush's Naane Varuven being directed Selvaraghavan, Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan, Karthi's Viruman, Santhanam's Agent Kannayiram, Ameer's Iraivan Miga Periyavan with a screenplay by Vetri Maaran, Comali director Pradeep Ranganathan's untitled film to name a notable few.

Ever since Yuvan had posted a photo of himself and Vijay last year, there have been speculations that the two could be coming together for a film soon once again. Whether that happens, remains to be seen as the superstar will next be seen in Beast announced to hit screens this April and will also begin production on his tentatively titled Thalapathy 66 under Vamshi Paidipally's direction. As of now, no music director has officially been announced for Thalapathy 66 and it is a waiting game for fans whether Yuvan could be a part of the film or any other Vijay project in the future.
