The upcoming mega project is a monumental one as it will also mark Sony Pictures Films India's foraying into Tamil cinema after the powerhouse studio announced its arrival in grand style back in January. Sai Pallavi, who enjoys a massive fan following in South India, is a big addition to SK 21 and it will be interesting to witness her in action with Sivakarthikeyan. Sai Pallavi was last seen in Tamil in the segment 'Oor Iravu' in the anthology film Paava Kadhaigal, is currently awaiting the release of the Telugu period venture Virata Parvam, and was announced earlier in the day to be starring in the lead role in the multilingual Gargi, under Gautham Ramachandran's direction.
