Academy Award-winning composer A. R.Rahman's daughter Khatija Rahman got married to her fiance, audio engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed. Sharing a family photo from the wedding on Instagram, the Grammy-winning musician wrote in the caption: "May the Almighty bless the couple...Thanking you in advance for your good wishes and love." In the picture, we see A. R. Rahman and his family standing beside a portrait of the composer's late mother Kareema. Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the newly-married couple from leading names in the industry, including singer Shreya Ghoshal commenting: "Hearty congratulations Khatija Rahman and Riyasdeen. God bless the beautiful couple." Likewise, film producer Boney Kapoor said: "Congratulations Mr and Mrs AR Rahman, Wishing the couple a very happy and blissful life." Below is A. R. Khatija too posted a photo on social media and wrote, "The most awaited day in my life. Married to my man Riyasdeen. Costume conceptualized and styled by Shruti Agarwal, costume Assistant- Kriti Baid." Several big names in the music industry sent in their love and wishes, including Singer Chinmayi Sripaada who commented, "Congratulations kannamma. So so happy for you. I wish you only happiness peace and all the love in the world," while singer Neeti Mohan wrote, "Many many congratulations Khatija and @riyasdeenriyan." The couple had gotten engaged last December and announced the news with a post that read: "With the blessings of the Almighty I'm happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer. Like her father, Khatija has an association with music and made her singing debut with the song 'Puthiya Manidha' alongside the legendary SP Balasubramanyam in 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's 2010 blockbuster Enthiran. More recently, she sang the 'Rock a Bye Baby' song in the  Kriti Sanon-starrer Mimi. A. R. Rahman and his wife Saira Banu are parents to three children - daughters Khatija and Raheema, and son AR Ameen.
