Silambarasan TR’s Eeswaran is currently running in the theatres and it has earned the support of the family audience. The film turned out to be a perfect release for the festive mood, thereby witnessing several families coming into the theatres. Though the film was criticised by a certain section of audience and critics for its templated treatment and usual story, the film has performed quite well at the box office. Silambarasan TR’s energetic performance has been one of the major talking points of the movie and everyone is pleasantly surprised with the stunning transformation of the VTV actor. STR shed a few kilos for his character in Eeswaran and his dedication was very much seen in the film.

The film is directed by Susienthiran and produced by Balaji Kappa under the banner of Madhav Media. With music scored by the current sensation, S Thaman, the film featured Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead and veteran director Bharathiraja in an important role. Munishkanth, Aruldoss, Nandita Swetha, Bala Saravanan, and others were also a part of the star cast. Ace cinematographer S Thirunavukarasu took care of the film’s visuals, while the editing and art direction departments were headed by Anthony and Rajeevan respectively.

As the film is running in the theatres, the makers have now released a new scene as a sneak peek. This is a comedy scene in which Bharathiraja’s family is asked to come for Corona testing. The entire shooting of Eeswaran happened during the pandemic with safety precautionary measures and the shoot was completed in a single schedule. Having said that, director Susienthiran created an interesting series of sequences that had the reference of Covid-19 virus. Those who have seen the film would know about it. The Corona related portions were treated in a light hearted manner and those portions were well received by the family audience who enjoyed it on screen.

This new sneak peek is a scene from those specified portions where the entire family is waiting in a queue to give their samples for Covid-19 test. This scene has received a good response from the viewers and interestingly, the film has more scenes related to this topic. The comedy sequences between Munishkanth Ramadoss, Aruldoss, Simbu, and Bala Saravanan worked well in the movie. For now, check out the newly released sneak peek from the film here:
