Star actress Samantha has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition named Myositis and she took to her official Instagram page to share the news with her fans and well wishers. This news has come as a shocker for her fans and people have been praying for her speedy recovery. Samantha, being someone known for her grit and determination as a human being, is sure to bounce back in style and we at Galatta Media wish her a hale and healthy recovery soon. Samantha mentioned that she thought of telling this to people after remission but since it has been taking longer time than expected, she made the news public.

Samantha also added that the Doctors are confident of a complete recovery. In her Instagram post, Samantha also opened up about her deep and inner thoughts in this journey of myositis. Samantha is simultaneously working on the dubbing of her upcoming film, Yashoda, while on the road to her recovery.

Talking about it, Samantha penned a heartfelt note that read, "Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you, that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me. A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. ♥️ THIS TOO SHALL PASS".

Myositis is a rare condition that involves inflammation of the muscles which become tired, painful, and weak. This post from Samantha has garnered wide attention on social media and we are sure this will be a moral boost to many others out there who are down with various other health conditions. Samantha, on the acting front, will next be seen in Yashoda which is set to hit the screens on November 11.
