Chandramukhi 2 is the anticipated next film of Raghava Lawrence that is a sequel to the blockbuster hit horror comedy-drama of 2005 that had 'Superstar' Rajinikanth in the lead role. Lyca Productions that is bank-rolling the film had announced the shooting wrapped on June 20 and also announced the release date of the film. Now, they have revealed another exciting update from the film about Raghava Lawrence's character in the film. The makers have shared photos of the actor from the dubbing studio, voice acting for his role in the film. They have added the caption “Raghava Lawrence transformed as Vettaiyan and starts dubbing for Chandramukhi 2 from today”.

The director P. Vasu and the makers of the project Chandramukhi 2 has not revealed the character name of Raghava Lawrence from the movie. The recent post shared by Lyca Production shows the actor will take up the role of Vettaiyan. The character was also present in the first part of the film as a king from years before of whom a portrait will be present in the palace and Rajinikanth would play the role in the flash back sequence and will also imitate the king in the climax of Chandramukhi. This new post hints that the character is present in Chandramukhi 2 and Raghaa Lawrence is playing the role in the sequel.
The exciting film Chandramukhi 2 is set to release in September and has a star-studded cast that includes Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut, 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Cook With Comali fame Srushti Dange, Suresh Menon, Ravi Maria and others in important roles. It will mark the Tamil comeback for the Oscar Award-winning composer M.M. Keeravani and will have set design by Thotta Tharani and cinematography by RD Rajsekhar.
