We're less than a week away from the release of Telugu superstar Prabhas' Adipurush opening in theatres worldwide on June 16. The upcoming film has been directed by Om Raut also coming out in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages has been the subject of big debate over the past few days after the final trailer's release earlier this week. Reports began circulating that the makers had announced that every theatre screening Adipurush will have one seat reserved for Lord Hanuman, which stirred a huge controversy on social media.
In the meantime, the Adipurush team on Sunday dispelled the rumors circulating about the pricing of the tickets for the seats next to the 'Lord Hanuman' seat. Taking to their social media handles, blockbuster production banner T-Series issued a fraud alert about the Prabhas-starrer and said, "There are misleading reports circulating in the media regarding #Adipurush ticket pricing. We want to clarify that there will be no differences in rates for seats next to the one reserved for Hanuman Ji! Don't fall for false information! Jai Shri Ram! 🙏🏹 (sic)".

Adipurush has Prabhas as Raghava sharing screen space with Bollywood superstars Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, who are playing Janaki and Lankesh, respectively. It is to be noted that The Kashmir Files producer Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts had announced that over 10,000 tickets for Adipurush across Telangana will be given to government schools, orphanages, and old age homes for free. Similarly, it was announced that Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor will reserve and donate 10,000 tickets for the film in theatres, which will be donated to underprivileged kids.
