S. J. Suryah's long-awaited film, Bommai, is all set to open in cinemas on June 16 and there is plenty of buzz surrounding the romantic thriller directed by Radhamohan. The film, which wrapped production back in 2020, has been talked about quite a lot and it looks like the excitement has shot up over the past few days. Bommai, which has S. J. Suryah and youth sensation Priya Bhavani Shankar sharing the screen once again after their 2019 hit Monster, is yet another big reason fans are looking forward to witnessing the action in theatres starting next week.
With less than a week left before the release of Bommai, an intense sneak peek has now been released giving audiences a glimpse into S. J. Suryah's fine display of acting skills once again. We see in the scene the filmmaker-actor in the midst of interrogation and talking about one Nandhini and how she disappeared from his life. Earlier in the film's trailer, audiences were shown how S. J. Suryah, a clothing store employee, falls head over heels in love with a Priya Bhavani Shankar, who is playing the role of a mannequin. Coming back to the Bommai sneak peek, S. J. Suryah explains how the Nandhini he mentioned earlier returns to him one day after her disappearance to get snatched away from his life, after which he goes on a path of vengeance.
Bommai is a step away from director Radhamohan's earlier emotional and breezy feel-good dramas like Mozhi (2007) and Abhiyum Naanum (2008) and it will be interesting to see what he and S. J. Suryah have in store for audiences up ahead. The film produced under the Angel Studios MH LLP banner also features music by celebrated composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and is receiving a good response among fans, with the 'Mudhal Muththam' and 'Indha Kadhalil' songs turning out to be chart-topping hits.
