Ranbir Kapoor's next big film, Animal, is set to be an action-packed feast in cinemas this year as the first glimpse released on Sunday, June 11, at 11:11 a.m., shows the Bollywood superstar taking charge against dreaded goons and gangsters. The upcoming action drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is best known for making the smash Telugu hit Arjun Reddy and its Hindi remake Kabir Singh, is scheduled to be launched into theatres on August 11 and thus dispels the rumors that it is getting postponed.
Animal promises to be a high-octane adrenaline spectacle and takes us into the grim underworld faction wars, with Ranbir Kapoor seen redefining himself completely from his superhero avatar in the 2022 blockbuster fantasy-action adventure film, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. The pre-teaser released shows several thugs in golden skull masks calling the shots against Ranbir, who then jumps into action taking out one gangster after another almost similar to Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeves' antics in the global blockbuster John Wick franchise films. One other major highlight of the Animal pre-teaser is the song playing in the background as the action is taking place, which has been composed by Manan Bhardwaj and has sung the track along with Bhupinder Babbal, who has also penned the lyrics.
Ranbir Kapoor's Animal has the actor sharing screen space with national sensation Rashmika Mandanna, who is set to charm everyone on the big screens once again this year after appearing alongside 'Thalapathy' Vijay in Varisu in Tamil. The film releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam also stars Bollywood superstars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deal in key roles and has a stellar technical team featuring the likes of cinematographer Amit Roy, production designer Suresh Selvarajan, costume designer Sheetal Sharma, with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga also handling the editing. A Bhadrakali Pictures Production venture being presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series & Cine1, Animal also marks the leading Tamil stunt and action choreographer 'Supreme' Sundar's debut in Bollywood, and his work in the latest glimpse is no doubt expected to be the talk of the town till the release of the film's teaser.
