V. Prakash Kumar was featured in the global hit English Netflix web series, Never Have I Ever.
A comedy-drama television series, Never Have I Ever, created by The Office fame actor and writer Mindy Kaling, revolves around an Indian-American teenager, who navigates her life through the ups and downs during her high school years. The 'En Jeevan' song sung by Hariharan, Saindhavi, and Vaikom Vijayalakshmi to the lyrics penned by Na. Muthukumar and Sanskrit verses by R. Thiyagarajan is featured in the fourth and final season of the hit show's finale (10th episode) and played amidst the backdrop of an Indian wedding with the series lead star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. Tamil cinema aficionados, who watched the said episode of Never Have I Ever, were left surprised with the inclusion of the 'En Jeevan' song from Theri, with 'Thalapathy' Vijay's ardent fan following since then sharing clips of the scene on social networking forums. 'En Jeevan' in Theri shot on the film's lead stars Vijay and Samantha was lauded for its visuals amidst scenic locales and was a step away from the foot-tapping numbers in the film.

Similarly, the hit Telugu song 'Saami Saami' in the blockbuster 2021 Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rise composed by Devi Sri Prasad and sung by Mounika Yadav to lyrics written by Chandrabose is also featured in Never Have I Ever and shows Maitreyi's dancing to the iconic steps performed by Rashmika Mandanna.
