Ponniyin Selvan 2 was released on April 28 and is running successfully in theatres across India. The film is called the magnum opus of Mani Ratnam and has a huge star cast. Makers of epic film recently announced that the film has grossed Rs. 300 crores at the box office. It is based on epic novels written by Kalki and is set around the Chola empires.
