Cinematography is one of the big pillars when it comes to making a film and it is the cinematographer and his skills behind the camera that shape out an idea visually first up. Likewise, popular cinematographer George C. Williams has earned a name for himself in South Indian cinema as a talent to reckon with after his debut in the Arya, Nayanthara, Jai and Nazriya Nazim starrer, Raja Rani, in 2013, which incidentally was also director Atlee's debut.

George C. Williams then struck gold big time when he joined 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Kaththi under director A. R. Murugadoss with the film going on to become the biggest blockbuster of 2014. Soon after, lucrative offers started coming George's way and he went on to team up with director Vignesh Shivan for the Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara starrer, Naanum Rowdydhaan, and once again with Atlee for Theri with Vijay. He then made his debut in Malayalam in Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu and followed it up by being introduced in Telugu in Varun Tej's Tholi Prema and Akhil Akkineni's Mr. Majnu before returning to Tamil once again for director PS Mithran's Irumbu Thirai and Hero.
