The shooting of the highly-anticipated action thriller Vikram has officially been wrapped up. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan alongside 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, with the ensemble cast featuring names like Shivani Narayanan, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Santhana Bharathi among others in supporting roles. Vikram is produced by Kamal Haasan's production house Raaj Kamal Films International, with its soundtrack and film score composition done by Anirudh Ravichander, followed by cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.

Earlier, the shooting of Vikram had come to a stop due to the coronavirus outbreak, and the set of curfews and restrictions that were imposed led to many changes in the production schedule. Even after it did continue, the shooting came to a standstill once again when Kamal Haasan was diagnosed with Covid-19. Vikram's shooting resumed shooting after the Omicron outbreak subsided to some extent, and once the government restrictions were relaxed. Finally, after facing all these obstacles, Lokesh Kanagaraj has officially announced the completion of shooting the film on Wednesday. He shared the announcement in a video alongside Fahadh Faasil and the rest of the crew along with a caption that read, "After 110 days of shoot it’s a WRAP Thanx to the entire cast and crew for the EXTRAORDINARY effort! @ikamalhaasan @VijaySethuOffl #FahadhFaasil @anirudhofficial #VIKRAM".

Vikram is one of the biggest releases this year as it stars three leading actors in the film for the first time. We will see 'Padmashri' Kamal Haasan share screen space with National Award winners Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, who are rumored to be playing negative roles in the film. This all-star cast along with the series of promotional material unveiled so far has all the fans super ecstatic over the film's release.
