A few days back, Kamal Haasan had tested positive for the Covid-19 Corona Virus infection and he was admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Porur, Chennai for medical treatment. Kamal Haasan was also unavailable to host the previous weekend's episode of Bigg Boss 5 Tamil for the same reason. Ramya Krishnan featured as the guest host of the show. Kamal Haasan appeared in the show for the initial few minutes through a video call after which Ramya Krishnan took care of the proceedings. After taking good rest and following the medications as instructed by the Doctors, Kamal Haasan has now recovered from the infection and this development has come as heartening news for one and all.

Though the legendary actor turned politician has recovered from Covid-19, he has been advised to be on isolation until the 3rd of December, Friday. He is permitted to resume his work from December 4, Saturday. The official statement from the hospital reads, "MR. KAMAL HAASAN, who has been admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on 22nd November 2021 was Covid Positive. He had mild covid for which he was treated. He has fully recovered but advised to be on isolation until 3rd December 2021. He will be fit to resume his routine work from 4th December 2021".

It is indeed good to know that Kamal Haasan has recovered from the infection and is all set to get back to work soon. We will have to wait until the weekend to know if Kamal Haasan will get back to the sets of Bigg Boss or if the fans will have to wait for one more week.

On the acting front, Kamal Haasan's next film is Vikram which is tentatively scheduled to release in April 2022.
