A leading actor in Bollywood for nearly two decades, John Abraham has garnered a huge fan following since his entry in films, and is currently shooting for his upcoming vigilante action venture, Satyameva Jayate 2. The incident happened at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh where John was shooting an action scene in the film's next schedule when he injured his finger. The Batla House actor was immediately rushed to a local hospital where he was administered immediate care and first aid after which he was later sent back. Upon hearing word that John Abraham was at the hospital, a large crowd had gathered outside the medical facility's premises to catch a glimpse of the actor. 

John Abraham had arrived in Varanasi by road on Wednesday after shooting for Satyameva Jayate 2 for nearly two months in Lucknow. A huge set has been erected inside a mansion near the Chet Singh Fort for shooting purposes, with the area completely cordoned off to stop any unauthorized entry, with bouncers as well standing guard. Shooting on Satyameva Jayate 2 under director Milap Zaveri resumed on Thursday, with plans to shoot around the prominent landmarks in the city in the ongoing schedule. Jointly being produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment banners, the film will see John sharing screen space alongside Divya Khosla Kumar, Annup Sonii, Harsh Chhaya among others, with plans for a May 2021 theatrical release. 

Apart from Satyameva Jayate 2, John Abraham also has in the pipeline the action crime film Mumbai Saga, in which he will be seen alongside Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar. In addition, he is also starring in a film titled Attack opposite Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez, including the biggie Pathan, which marks the return of 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan after a gap of more than two years, with Deepika Padukone cast as the heroine. John is also serving as a producer and is expected to make a cameo appearance on the Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet starrer Sardar and Grandson.
