Bhoomi is an upcoming Tamil action-drama starring Jayam Ravi in the lead role. Notably, Bhoomi is Ravi’s 25th film and it is directed by Lakshman who has already worked with the Thani Oruvan actor in films like Romeo Juliet and Bogan. Produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar under the banner of Home Movie Makers, Bhoomi will mark the Tamil debut of actress Nidhhi Agerwal who plays the female lead. Bhoomi has cinematography by Dudley and editing by Ruben and John Abraham. A few days before, the makers had released the first single from the film, called 'Tamizhan Endru Sollada', which turned out to be a chartbuster. This anthem song, crooned by Anirudh Ravichander received a good reception from the fans.

Following that, the makers have now released the second single song which is called 'Kadaikkanaale'. This soulful melody number is crooned by ace singer Shreya Ghoshal. D Imman and Shreya Ghoshal have a fantastic success ratio and we have to admit that the duo has repeated the magic once again with this new track from Bhoomi. 'Kadaikkanaale' has got the good potential to book a place in the playlist of music lovers. The song's lyrics are penned by Thamarai who delivers her best, in style. The lyric video has been released on the official YouTube channel of Sony Music South who owns the film's audio rights.

Through the lyric video, we also get to see some new stills and a glimpse of the work that went behind filming the song. It looks like 'Kadaikkanaale' will be a mixture of dance movements and montages. Unlike Romeo Juliet and Bogan, Bhoomi is said to deal with a very important social theme and it is said to talk about the burning issues faced by farmers these days. Ravi's choice of films has always been an interesting aspect to look out for and let us see what is the x-factor in Bhoomi. Ravi's last three films - Tik Tik Tik, Adangamaru and Comali have turned out to be great hits at the box office and the young actor will be looking forward to continuing that form with Bhoomi as well.

The film is rumoured to have a direct digital release for the festive occasion of Diwali, but the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding that. For now, check out the newly released second single - 'Kadaikkanaale' from Jayam Ravi's Bhoomi here:
