After a one day short trip to New Delhi, Superstar Rajinikanth returned to Chennai this afternoon (August 7) and while on his way to getting into his car, he replied to one of the questions asked by the press and media who were gathered outside the Chennai airport. One of the reporters asked Rajinikanth about his next plan, the legendary actor instantly replied by saying, "Shooting Dhan..", followed by his trademark laugh. His reply has instantly turned viral on social media and has grabbed the attention of the fans. This reply from him tells us that he is all set to begin the shooting of his highly anticipated next, Jailer.

After a comfortable resting period, Superstar Rajinikanth is now getting ready to be back in action and his reply has also confirmed the same. The shooting of Jailer is said to begin this month and the film is said to be in the final stages of pre production. The fans have pinned high hopes on this movie and it is expected to showcase Rajinikanth in a completely different dimension. Jailer is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and this will be his next outing in Tamil cinema after Thalapathy Vijay's Beast which opened to mixed reviews from the audiences.

Jailer will have music composed by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander and this will be his third outing with Rajinikanth after Petta and Darbar. The film will be produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures, marking the company's fourth time association with Superstar after Enthiran, Petta, and Annaatthe. Vijay Kartik Kannan would be handling the cinematography of the film, while R Nirmal and drk Kiran would be taking care of the editing and art direction departments respectively.
