Gv prakash kumar reveals reunion with dhanush for a new film after captain miller - Tamil Movie Cinema News

G. V. Prakash Kumar's Adiyae is currently running in cinemas and the National Award-winning composer-actor and co-star Gouri G. Kishan recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta to talk about his collaborations with the leading names in Tamil cinema, including his association with Dhanush. Speaking about his special bond with the two-time National Award winner, the hit music director said, "[There are] very, very few people who will be in that school friends zone. We both are the 'maama' and 'machan' types. There's nobody else for us in that zone. We play cricket together and often argue, and then get back together. But, when he likes someone, if there's genuine love, he will go to any extreme for that. You can ask him for any help at any given time. He will do it. He will make sure he does it if he really likes you. So, that's not there in any other star and if I ask him today that I want something, he will do it. There's never a NO from him. So, he's that type of a friend."

Recalling an incident about Dhanush promoting the Adiyae trailer on social media, GV Prakash said, "I put forward the request a day before its release and he asked me back, 'You'll ask me always at the last minute, right?', and I apologized to him. He would not feel bothered at all. You need not think about it. If that rapport is there and we are really on those terms, and he really has a liking for you, he'll go to any extreme for you." Responding to his collaborations with Dhanush, including their upcoming Captain Miller, the composer said, "I've been lucky enough to be in some of his best films like Polladhavan, which is commercially a well-made film. Aadukalam was his first National Award [film]. With Asuran, there was his makeover and it turned out [memorable]. And, again, Captain Miller... I've been a part of his iconic films."

GV Prakash also went on to reveal that he will be joining hands with Dhanush once again for a future project saying, "Again, there's a big announcement for us collaborating together that is going to come out. After Captain Miller, there's going to be one more huge announcement." It now remains to be seen which project the duo will team up on considering films like the tentatively titled D50 and D51, an untitled venture with Mari Selvaraj of Karnan and Maamannan fame, and another project with Captain Miller director Arun Matheswaran has been announced. It is to be noted that both Dhanush and GV Prakash have worked in seven films to date namely Polladhavan (2007), Aadukalam (2011), Mayakkam Enna (2011), Asuran (2019), Maaran (2022), and Vaathi (2023).
