The wait for two-time National Award-winning actor Dhanush's Captain Miller teaser is all set to come to an end. Sathya Jyothi Films has finally announced that the upcoming film's first visuals will be released on July 28 on the occasion of the Tamil superstar's birthday. Sharing a new announcement poster of the Captain Miller teaser release date, we see a glimpse of Dhanush's hand holding an axe sickle, who appears to be in attack mode, with the prestigious production-distribution house labeling the actor's birthday date as "THE D-DAY" (a reference to the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II).

Announced for a grand 2023 release in theatres worldwide, Captain Miller being directed by Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame Arun Matheswaran is currently one of the most-awaited films in recent times and will showcase Dhanush sporting a completely new and rugged look with long hair and a thick beard. The promotional material unveiled so far that also included the film's first look has received a phenomenal response, with fans also coming up with their own artwork, which has often been given a double thumbs up by Dhanush, Arun Matheswaran, and Sathya Jyothi Films. It is believed that the Captain Miller teaser will finally reveal the film's release date and it is now a waiting game till this Friday.
Billed to be an action-adventure film set in the 1930s, Dhanush's Captain Miller features a packed star cast that includes youth sensation Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead, while Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, Maanagaram star Sundeep Kishan, Merku Thodarchi Malai hero Antony, Sillu Karuppatti actress Nivedhithaa Sathish, Thunivu villain John Kokken, Malayalam actor Moor, among others will be seen in pivotal roles. Captain Miller is also the seventh collaboration for both Dhanush and National Award-winning Tamil composer G. V. Prakash Kumar after their previous outings Polladhavan (2007), Aadukalam (2011), Mayakkam Enna (2011), Asuran (2019), Maaran (2022), and Vaathi (2023).
