Director Selvaraghavan is married to Gitanjali who worked as an associate to him in Mayakkam Enna. The duo fell in love during the filming of Mayakkam Enna and got married in June 2011. The couple have a daughter named Leelavathi and a son named Omkar. The latest good news coming from Selvaraghavan's family is that Gitanjali is pregnant and the couple is expecting their third child. Yes! Gitanjali posted a baby bump picture on her Instagram story yesterday (August 12) and captioned it, '17 weeks', thereby sharing her pregnancy news.

Wishes have been pouring in from various quarters for Selvaraghavan, Gitanjali and their family on hearing this good news. Galatta Media also sends its best wishes to the much loved couple on this. Gitanjali has been an instrumental part in Selvaraghavan’s life and the duo share a very beautiful relationship which was reflected in many of Selvaraghavan’s recent media interviews. Gitanjali also made her directorial debut with the film, Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam which starred Balakrishna Kola and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. However, post that, Gitanjali has not directed any films due to her other commitments and let us hope to see her get back to celluloid soon.

On the work front, Selvaraghavan is currently busy with the scripting works of his next film which is expected to have Dhanush playing the lead role. Though an official announcement is yet to be made, the fans are eagerly waiting for the Pudhupettai combination to strike back once again. If reports are to be believed, this film might be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations.

The fans are also waiting for Selvaraghavan’s long delayed horror thriller, Nenjam Marapathillai to release either in OTT or in theatres soon. Nenjam Marapathillai, which stars S.J.Surya, Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha in the lead roles has not seen the light of day yet due to various financial problems associated with the production of the film.
