Prestigious Tamil production house Sathya Jyothi Films surprised fans on Friday evening, July 1, by dropping an announcement regarding leading actor Dhanush's next film under their banner. A special poster informing fans that a massive announcement will be made on Saturday, July 2, at 5:30 p.m. has been released and includes the text 'The Madras Regiment' with its emblem also being featured in bold letters alongside a firearm from the pre-Independence era. There is also the text 'WANTED' atop Dhanush's next film's poster, which isn't revealed in bold and hints at what could be regarding the two-time National Award-winning actor's role and character.

What's most interesting about this new Dhanush film announcement poster is the inclusion of the text 'The Madras Regiment', which is the Indian Army's oldest infantry regiment and originated in the 1750s. It is said that the regiment had taken part in several military operations with the British Indian Army and the post-independence Indian Army. For a while now, there has been a talk that the film with Dhanush in the lead will be directed by Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame Arun Matheswaran and has been titled Captain Miller, which can be expected to be officially announced tomorrow.
