Dhanush’s next big film, which has created huge excitement among fans and movie buffs, is Captain Miller. The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran, of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame. Its teaser was released recently in celebration of the actor's birthday and became a trending video. Apart from an ensemble of talented cast it also has a great technical crew. It is to be edited by Nagooran, who has also worked with the director in his past films and had also worked on the teaser cut for the film. Nagooran gave an exclusive interview to Galatta Media recently and shared some interesting details about the making of the teaser.

When asked what the editor enjoyed about Dhanush's performance in the film, Nagooran said he had the same excitement as fans. He then added that seeing the shots for the first time, especially the first shot that was featured in the teaser, was a very interesting journey for him. "The first thing is that I like Dhanush sir very much. Because he is a performer, editors usually like performers. Especially for me because they would make us feel too. Be it a shot or two to three take. Even if it is different takes, they will make us feel, which Dhanush will do in his acting; he is a master in that sense. Captain Miller will be a very interesting project", said the editor Nagooran
The makers of Captain Miller, Sathya Jyothi Films, have revealed that the film will release in theatres on December 12. The teaser has heightened the excitement for the film, as it shows the film will be set in the pre-independence period, with guns blazing and high-octane action. The film also has music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar. It will also feature a stellar lineup of the cast that includes Dhanush, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Sundeep Kishan, Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar, John Kokken, Nivedhithaa Sathish, and other.
