Now, the director has shared an interesting reply to a fan who asked about Thalapathy 68. Venkat Prabhu recently shared that he would be presenting the film Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu with a video on Twitter. In the comments section, a user asked, "I thought another T68 update... Nonetheless, All the best." As a reply to this comment, the director added, "T 68 announcement chumma therikum!! Kathirungal," which translated to Thalapathy 68 announcement will be fiery, Wait and watch.

The director and actor combo of Venkat Prabhu- Vijay was also long-awaited by fans. The makers had revealed that the film will have music composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and will be produced as the 25th venture of AGS Entertainment. The director and the music composer are working together for the first time since 2003. More details about the project are expected to drop soon.
