Ajith Kumar's Valimai will be hitting the screens on February 24 on a record number of screens and the fans are eagerly waiting for the D-Day. Considering the phenomenal hype surrounding the movie, we can expect Valimai to take an astounding opening at the box office. Ahead of the film's release, a new update on the film has been known and it has made the fans delighted. The final sound mix of Valimai was completed recently and Ajith Kumar visited the studio to have a glimpse of it. He is said to have been impressed by the final product. A picture of Ajith Kumar, director H Vinoth, and sound engineer MR Rajakrishnan has been doing rounds on social media.

Rajakrishnan shared the picture on his official Instagram page and wrote, "After Valimai Mix ❤". Now that the final mix is done, Valimai is fully complete and set for release on Feb 24, as planned. Notably, February 24 is the death anniversary of late actress Sridevi who is the main reason behind the collaboration of Ajith Kumar and Boney Kapoor, the producer. Valimai is an action drama that will feature Ajith playing the role of Arjun, a cop. Popular Telugu actor Kartikeya will be playing the main antagonist in Valimai and it is going to be an interesting faceoff of sorts between him and Ajith.

With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography handled by Nirav Shah, Valimai has Kaala fame Huma Qureshi plays the female lead, alongside Yogi Babu, Sumithra, Bani, GM Sundar, and Pugazh in supporting roles. The trailer of the film hyped up the expectations among the masses and it promised that Valimai will be an exciting stylish action entertainer. The pre-release buzz is extraordinary and the film has garnered positive reviews from its early preview shows that happened for the people in the trade circle.
