Leading Tamil actor-producer Vishal has shared a video on social media that shows him sustaining injuries during the shooting of a stunt sequence for his upcoming film, Laththi, being directed by debutant A. Vinoth Kumar. The actor has revealed that he suffered multiple hairline fractures while shooting the action scene in Hyderabad, which has been choreographed by stunt director Peter Hein. Vishal has also informed that he is off to Kerala for the next three weeks to rejuvenate himself and will return to kick-start the final schedule of Laththi from the first week of March.

The video starts off showing the stunt team being given updates for the action scene by Peter Hein, with the Laththi filming crew then executing the sequence. We next see Vishal holding a little girl as he's being given the cue to jump down an opening when the floor below cracks with the two falling down into a wide net. However, the actor is shown sustaining injuries on his hand, and the Laththi crew next rushing to help him with the first aid. It is to be noted that this is the second consecutive film Vishal has gone full out to deliver on the action front after he suffered similar injuries during the shooting of Veeramae Vaagai Soodum, which was released in theatres recently.
