23 years ago, on this very same day (September 30), we were introduced to one of the most sensational personality who is now a famed name is Tamil cinema. Since then, she has grown, found a place in people's hearts and has become a household name in the South. We are talking about none other than Trisha herself!

Back in 30 September 1999, Trisha won the Miss Chennai title which put her in the crosshairs of the Tamil film industry. She was picked up and cast in her first film Mounam Pesiyadhe in 2002 which skyrocketed her to stardom. Now, 23 years later, her recent film Ponniyin Selvan hit the screens on the very same date when she had won the Miss Chennai title. It has been a wonderful journey for her and her fans who have followed her from her very beginnings to where she is now.
