Silambarasan TR both surprised and stunned fans earlier this week when he returned to social media forums along with a transformation video, which has since gone and received a thunderous response. STR has been undergoing intensive training in the gym and his new look, where he has shed a few kilos for his next film, tentatively titled as #SilambarasanTR46, under Suseenthiran's direction has been the talk of the town. The upcoming film will show Simbu in a never-before-seen avatar as he had been keeping his look secretive in the hopes of making a delightful treat for his ardent fans.

A teaser poster released this week with the actor's face not shown, all the while holding a cricket bat, as well received a staggering response, taking the excitement levels for the film even higher. The raw and gritty feel in the poster shows the makers will be focusing on intense and high-octane action, which STR's fans will be quite happy with.

Upon his return to social media, STR announced that the title of his STR 46, its first look, including a motion poster will be unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami. And, the wait is finally over. With production currently progressing at Dindigul with the main cast and crew, Simbu has now announced that the film has been titled as Eeswaran. The highly-anticipated new look of Silambarasan in the upcoming Suseenthiran film being produced by Madhav Media no doubt shows the massive and radical transformation he has undergone, which will come as a big highlight when it comes out in theatres in 2021 as Pongal treat.

The crew of Eeswaran are following the COVID-19 protocols during the shooting as per the government's instructions. Both Silambarasan and Suseenthiran will be looking for a powerful comeback with the upcoming film, which also includes Nidhhi Agerwal of Bhoomi fame as the female lead and veteran director Bharathiraja in a supporting role. Composer SS Thaman, whose popularity has skyrocketed post the astounding success of the Allu Arjun starrer, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Telugu, will be looking to carry forward the momentum in the new Simbu film, which will be their reunion after Vaalu in 2015. The film is being cinematographed by S Tirru, while Anthony has come on board as the editor, with the team planning to wrap production in a single schedule.
