The makers of Ganesh's 25th film were not able to finalize a heroine but now Richa Panai has been finalized. She has already done a few films in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi, and with this film, she would make her Sandalwood debut.
At first Rachita Ram of Dil Rangeela was approached, but she did not take up the offer due to some unknown reasons. Then it went to Vedhika and the film was launched in her presence. But she backed out due to remuneration issues.then Arundhati was offered the role. But now it is Richa.
