Sizzling Keerthy Suresh is now one of the most popular actresses across our country. Despite being popular in the South, the massive success of Mahanati/Nadigaiyar Thilagam, shot her to fame across different industries and landed her a National Award, while also opening up the gates of Bollywood for her. She is now busy with a number of projects and is shuttling between them. Keerthy is also working in Superstar Rajinikanth's next film Annaatthe and it was just recently announced that she has opted out of what was supposed to be her maiden Bollywood venture - Maidaan. As we already know she recently had a release in the form of Penguin which released directly on Amazon Prime. Though the film was bashed by critics and fans alike, her performance was still lauded by everyone. Even she gets a small scope to perform, she always gives her best to suit the character. Her next release would be in Telugu which would be her female centric project as well titled Miss India. She will also be seen in Mohanlal’s historical entertainer Marakkar. Meanwhile, there are rumours doing rounds that Keerthy Suresh is likely to play the female lead in Gautham Menon’s next film with Kamal Haasan which is tentatively called Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu 2. No announcement has thus far been made regarding this project yet but a section of media has been carrying about Gautham Menon and Kamal Haasan reunion for the past 6 months. It is also rumoured that this project will be funded by Ishari Ganesh. We are still not sure if Gautham Menon and Kamal Haasan are coming together for Vettaiyaadhu Vilayaadu 2 but our sources have rubbished rumours about Keerthy Suresh acting in this project. Apparently, the actress has not been approached for this film so far. 
 
Earlier it was speculated that Anushka might be roped in to play the female lead in Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu 2 directed by Gautham Menon. GVM had earlier revealed that there are talks to make a sequel to the successful 2006 crime thriller Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu. Anushka was supposed to play the lead in one of Gautham Menon’s female-centric film might now be roped in to feature in Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu 2. If this happens, this will be the third Anushka would star in the sequel of a film after Baahubali and Singam franchaises. Let’s wait for some confirmation from the team.
