Director P.S.Mithran made a very impressive debut with Irumbu Thirai (starring Vishal and Action King Arjun) which released in 2018. This cyber crime action thriller garnered positive reviews for its strong writing and research and the gripping screenplay. Later, he made Hero with Sivakarthikeyan and this film was noted for its noble intent and message. Currently, the talented director is busy with the scripting and pre-production works of his next film and if reports are to be believed, he is most likely to join hands with actor Karthi and this movie will have music scored by G.V.Prakash Kumar. However, let us wait for an official word.

Meanwhile, the talented young filmmaker took to his Twitter space to make an important clarification. He informed his followers that an unknown stranger has been impersonating as one of his associate directors and trying to get contact details and photos of aspiring actors. Mithran clarified that he hasn't asked any of his assistants to do so and added that he doesn't know this person.

Also, Mithran shared a screenshot of a mail sent by the fake associate director and asked everyone to be careful. He tweeted, "#FakeAlert It has come to my notice that someone has been impersonating as my associate & asking people for contact info, auditions etc I DO NOT know this person nor have I authorised anyone to collect contact info/pics Kindly do report if you come across this kind of a mail✌🏽".

The unauthorised fake mail sent by the unknown stranger reads, "Hi.. My name is Aryan.. I am an associate of Tamil film director P.S.Mithran... I want to cast you in P.S.Mithran's next film... Send your contact details or contact me on +919766876651. This is the WhatsApp number. We have little time.

This important clarification from PS Mithran should possibly be making budding and aspiring actors to be aware of the scam that's going on. It can be recalled that director Karthick Naren of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru and Mafia fame also faced a similar situation, a few months back. Karthick also warned the aspiring actors and budding talents to be aware of the fake casting call auditions. One can be sure that casting calls would not happen during this lockdown period when everyone is fighting for a greater cause. Check out PS Mithran’s tweet below:
