S. Krishna, the talented cinematographer has turned director with the film Gajakesari. Yash and Amulya make up the leading cast of the film, and Satya Hegde will be the cameraman.

The film's launch was supposed to happen earlier, but since Yash was busy with his latest film Raja Huli, they had to push the launch to June 4, and shooting will begin from June 10.

The first fifteen days of shoot will happen in the forests of Thailand, and Krishna tells us he has even found the perfect elephant he needed for the film. He wanted a trained and grown up elephant which resembles an Indian elephant, and he has successfully found one that matches all his expectations.

The Thailand shoot will mostly involve Yash and the elephant, and after that the cast and crew will return to India to resume their shoot in Karnataka.
