According to the latest exciting updates from reliable sources in the industry, the blockbuster combo of Dhanush and director Vetri Maaran are going to team up once again for a new film. Yes! Sounds exciting, right? We are informed that this film will go on floors as soon as possible, immediately after the lockdown and Vetri Maaran is currently fine tuning the script and giving final touches to it. The pre-production works are happening at full swing and we can expect the film to begin very soon. It is also added that this movie is not Vada Chennai 2.

This film will be produced by Elred Kumar under his banner, RS Infotainment, a renowned production company known for bankrolling films like Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Ko, Yaamirukka Bayandhadhu, etc. It is a known fact that Vetri Maaran is already committed to doing a project each with Soori and Suriya, but both the films will take a longer time to materialize. Vetri Maaran's film with Soori, which is also produced by Elred Kumar, was planned to be shot majorly in a foreign country, but due to the ongoing global pandemic and the complications in travelling abroad, it is said that Vetri and Elred have decided to put that project on hold.

In the meantime, this film with Dhanush will happen and it will be shot completely in and around Tamil Nadu. After completing this film, the acclaimed director will start shooting for the Soori starrer. Vaadivaasal, which stars Suriya, is being planned to be shot on a larger scale with crowds, considering the fact that the film deals with the sport of Jallikattu. So, when the situation gets better and everyone are declared safe from the pandemic, Vaadivaasal will take off.
