Bad Education is an upcoming film directed by Cory Finley and written by Mike Makowsky. It stars Hugh Jackman, Allison Janney, and Ray Romano. The film is based on real-life events. that occurred at writer and co-producer Mike Makowsky's high school during the time he was a student there. It had its world premiere last year at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews with critics praising Makowsky's screenplay and especially the performances of Jackman and Janney. Bad Education will be released on HBO on April 25, 2020.
