Earlier today (July 12), Sivakarthikeyan and his wife, Aarthi were blessed with a baby boy and the news was officially confirmed by Sivakarthikeyan himself. SK was elated about the birth of his son and felt that he is now back with his father after 18 years. Sivakarthikeyans tweet read, "18 வருடங்களுக்குப் பிறகு இன்று என் அப்பா என் விரல் பிடித்திருக்கிறார் என் மகனாக…என் பல வருட வலி போக்க தன் உயிர்வலி தாங்கிய என் மனைவி ஆர்த்திக்கு கண்ணீர்த்துளிகளால் நன்றி அம்மாவும் குழந்தையும் நலம்". Both the mother and the baby are said to be in good health.

Doctor is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film features Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, while the supporting cast includes Vinay, Yogi Babu, VJ Archana, Arun Alexander, Dheepa, Redin Kingsley, and others.

Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for Don, which is a youthful college drama that is said to be high on fun. Don is produced by Lyca Productions, in association with SK Productions and it is expected to release by the end of this year. SK also has Ayalaan which is a sci-fi thriller, directed by R Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame. Ayalaan is a film that is based on the alien invasion theme and it is an exciting film to watch out for. As a producer, Sivakarthikeyan is all geared up for the release of Vaazhl, which will have a direct OTT release on the Sony Liv platform.
