Yuvan Shankar Raja's U1 Records recently revealed that they will be releasing a music video featuring actress Ineya titled Mia. And now, the much awaited official music video has been released by the team. Mia, produced by Ineya herself the song is made under the banner Amaya Entertainments. Mia is the tale of a dancer setting forth to achieve her AIM and the challenges she faces. Sayanoraa Philip of ‘Athiradikaaran’ fame has lent her voice for the song. Composed by Ashwin Johnson, Mia has lyrics penned by Govardhan Palaniswamy. The 8 and-a-half minute colourful video is smooth to the eye with some elegant moves and the groovy tune is catchy enough to stick in your mind for a while.
The title has a unique significance as it was created by using the first letters of the names of Mahesh, Ineya and Arun. Mia took shape when Ineya and her dance master Arun Nandakumar decided to create a dance production with the actress herself as the lead. Ineya and the team wanted to make it on a commercial level but also with a social message and also be entertaining thus coming up with the idea for Mia. The video is a team effort and all the people who have worked on this project happen to be friends.
