The fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, hosted by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was a grand success. The show which happened between October 4, 2020, and January 17, 2021, witnessed actor Aari Arujunan as the title winner, while Balaji Murugadoss was declared as the runner-up. Rio Raj, Som Shekar, and Ramya Pandian were the other finalists of the season. Following the success of Bigg Boss Tamil, the makers of the show are now all set for the new edition, but this time, in Malayalam. Yes! The third season of Bigg Boss Malayalam is all set to begin very soon and the promo teaser of the show has been released now. Legendary actor Mohanlal who hosted the first two seasons will continue as the host for this season as well and the fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing him back on the small screen.

Mohanlal, in the promo, says that the show must go on, despite the odds including the pandemic and other oppositions. "There is always a place for celebration even during a tough stage of survival. Entertainment is also our right. Bigger, better, Bigg Boss season 3 - The show must go on,", says Mohanlal. The promo video has got a phenomenal reception among the fans who are already excited and looking forward to the show. The new season of Bigg Boss Malayalam is expected to start either from the end of this month or early next month.

Reports suggest that actors Noby Marcose, Kidilam Firoz, and social media influencer Dhanyanath will take part as the contestants of this season. However, we will be knowing the final list of confirmed contestants only during the telecast of the first episode. It is said that this season of Bigg Boss Malayalam will take place in the same EVP Film City where the Tamil edition was shot. Currently, the makers are said to be making alterations to the Bigg Boss Tamil house and once the set works are completed, the new season of the Malayalam version will take off. The contestants are said to be staying in the hotel right now to complete their quarantine process.

Just like the Tamil and Telugu versions, the final list of selected contestants will undergo Covid-19 tests and only after getting the confirmation results, the members will be permitted inside the house.
