Three releases today
Just like last Friday, today also three films are going to be released in Karnataka. Although without big star casts, the films deserve to be noticed for several newcomers are making their debut through them.
The films released today (17th October) are Payana, Sangathi and Premagaagi Naa.
Small screen actor Ravishanker makes his big debut through Payana which is directed by Kiran Govi. C.Venkatesh under that banner Smitha Creations produces the film which has Ravishanker. Ramanithu Chaudhary, Sharat Babu, Chitra Shenoy in the cast. Gnanamurthy is the cameraman while V. Harikrishna is the music director.
Sangathi will have Chetan, son of producer Byre Gowda making his debut; Srinivasa Raju is also making his debut as director through the film. Aishwarya Ajith, Pratiksha Shetty, Girish Karnad, Vinayaprakash, Kishori Ballal, Satyaprakash are in the supporting cast. The film has Hamsalekha scoring the music and B.L Venu handling the cinematography.
Premagaai Naa stands out from the rest as a musical film and this is the 100th film of music director Rajesh Ramnath. Great singers like S. Janaki, S.P.B., Shreya Ghoshal, Udit Narayan and the living legend K.J. Yesudas have lent their voices for the songs. The film is produced by D. Jayashanker under the banner of Three Star Creations. Shanker, Vandana, Dwarakish, Sumithra, Umashri, Abhinaya, Nagashekar, Biradar, Appu Venkatesh are in the cast of Premagaagi Naa.
The films which released last week, Chikkamagaloora Chikkamallige, Mandakini and Ba Bega Chandamama have failed to arouse any major interest among the masses and continue their below-average run in the box office.
