Suresh Heblikar returns to acting
Those who appreciate Suresh Heblikar will never forget his films in the 80s. Aparjitha, Kaadina Benki, Aale Manne and Usha Kirana are still considered the best Kannada films ever made. Most lovers of Kannada cinema still recollect the famous song 'Namma Oru Manthara Hoove' from Aale Manne sung by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam.
One of the biggest heroes the Kannada film industry has ever produced, Suresh Heblikar is making a comeback to cinema with Mylari in the role of a magazine editor.
Suresh was last seen in the super hit Cyanide. Though he quit cinema in the late 90s, he remained in the limelight due to his work in the field of environment, especially the conservation and protection of the Western Ghats. He has also formed an NGO Eco Watch to work on environment issues. The actor, keen on making a film based on social and environmental issues, is working on the details.
