Producer Soorappa Babu has filed a complaint against Shivrajkumar in KFCC (Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce) to refund the amount of Rs. 20 lakhs he had paid the actor in advance, for the film titled Varada which has now been shelved.
Talking about the complaint, KFCC president K.V. Chandeashekar said, "Though I am aware of the issue, I have not got any instructions with regard to how it has to be resolved. But we are hopeful of resolving the issue soon.”
Shivrajkumar remained unavailable for the comment, as he is currently holidaying with this family in Srilanka. But, sources close to Shivanna stated that the star will address the issue once he gets back to Bangalore.
It has to be noted that in the history of Dr. Rajkumar’s family, this is the first time a complaint has been filed against one of the members from the family.
