Shooting in Mumbai very expensive

Topline producer Shailendra Babu has recently foundthat shooting in Mumbai can be more expensive that shooting in a foreign location. He was in Mumbai for the shooting ofDubai Babu andhad to spend a whopping Rs. 60 lakhs for just 12 days of shooting! Acquiring permission to park vehicles on the roads is very tough and once you get it, it costs Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 a day. A whole lot of running around is needed and people are waiting to snatch money even for small things, recalled Babu, while speaking at a press conferencein Bangalore.

He also said that had he been shooting in a foreign location for 12 days, it would have cost him only Rs.10 lakhs. Dubai Babu is the remake of the Telugu film Dubai Seenu. Although the originalwas not shot in Dubai, Babu plans to take the cast to Dubai forshooting a song. His previous film Ganda Hendathi resulted in huge losses but he is very confident and hopeful that Dubai Babu will be a huge hit and will make up for the loss.
