Actress-turned-politician Rakshita, who was supposed to contest in the upcoming assembly elections from BSR congress party which will be held from the Chamarajanagar constituency on May 5, has decided to quit the party. The actress was holding an important position in the party. According to sources, Rakshita had sought a party ticket to contest from Rajarajeshwarinagar, but the party insisted her to contest from Chamarajnagar constituency. The lack of cooperation from party workers made her to quit the party. There are rumors that Rakshita may consider joining BJP and she is seeking ticket to contest from Yashwanthpur constituency of Bangalore. However, the actress is yet to clear the air about her next political move.
