Dhanush-Jawahar: Aiming for a hat-trick
Dhanush and remakes go together. After the success of Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Kutty, Dhanush and his favourite director Jawahar K. Mithran are all set to translate the magic of the Telugu blockbuster Ready, (starring Ram and Genelia) as Uthama Puthiran. This is the first time Genelia will share screen space with Dhanush.
The lucky streak of Dhanush-Jawahar began in Yaaradi Nee Mohini, a remake of the Telugu hit Adavari Matalaku Arithale Verule; then came Kutty paired with Shriya Saran, a remake of the Telugu hit Aarya. Interestingly the lead pair is currently in Switzerland to shoot a song sequence.
Uthama Puthiran is a big budget film produced by Balaji Studios Pvt. Ltd. Bhagyaraj, Vivek and Karunas play prominent roles.
