Model and actress Akanksha who made her entry in Sandalwood through the film Olave Mandara expressed her wish to prove her acting skills in the film industry.
On talking about the audiences response for her role in Olave Mandara, Akanksha said, “Iâam deeply humbled by the appreciation I've got from within the industry and the audience. I knew Iâwanted to be an actress for a very long time, but Iâwas only waiting for the right break. At first, when I signed Olave Mandara, Iânever thought it would do so well, but I really liked the strong script and the technicians that were behind the film.”
Akanksha said that she loves South Indian films and she loves to be connected with South Indian films. She also thanked Kannada audiences for their encouragement and support.
The actress is currently busy with the Kannada film Dashamukha in which she plays the role of a physically challenged person. The movie is directed by Ravi Srivastava. The actress has also been finalized as the leading lady of Edhigaarike, to be directed by Sumana Kittur.
