Jailer trailer shows ‘Superstar' Rajinikanth as the character played by Muthuvel Pandian, whose son is a police officer and also has a grandson. Ramya Krishnan and Rajinikanth are the on-screen couple in the film, and what happens when the character is taunted by a gangster and if he seeks revenge, after knowing Muthuvel Pandian's past forms the rest of the story of Jailer.
