There were reports that there was a rift between Sudeep and Shivrajkumar. The two actor were reportedly not on talking terms and even avoided each other in public functions. Things turned worse after Sudeep expressed that he did a cameo appearance in Shivrajkumar's Aryan, just for the sake of late director D Rajendra Babu.
However, the actor has now cleared the air, adding that he was happy to have worked in Shivrajkumar's film and he was misquoted. He further added, that he meant to say that he did not do this film for any commercial purpose.
