After completing his directorial venture in Kannada, Sudeep has finally started shooting for his next Tamil film with Vijay. The film is said to be a period drama and he will be seen opposite actress Sridevi, who plays a prominent role in the film.
Sudeep himself has confirmed that he shares screen space with his favourite actress, in this new project. He further added that he is very happy to star with an actress who is still worshipped as a goddess by her fans. There are also reports that the makers were very keen to sign him up, despite him explaining about his busy schedule and it is said that they waited for several months for his nod.
