South Indian sensation Sai Pallavi has been keeping herself busy for a while now with her upcoming two big Telugu films - Love Story opposite Naga Chaitanya and the Rana Daggubati and Priyamani starrer Virata Parvam. Among them, Love Story has generated tremendous excitement among the Premam actress' fans as the film also marks her reunion with acclaimed director Sekhar Kammula after their Fidaa in 2017. The upcoming romantic drama is incidentally also Sekhar Kammula's return to filmmaking after a gap of nearly three years.

Production on Love Story had been progressing at a steady pace until the coronavirus pandemic suspended filming earlier this year. However, the team resumed shooting once again in September in line with the protocols and safety precautions instructed by the government. Having said that, it has now been officially announced that the entire shoot on Love Story has been completed, with the team currently formulating a release plan. Jointly being produced by Asian Cinemas, Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Creations, the makers announced on Twitter saying, "#LoveStory completes shoot and getting ready for release. More details soon!", while also sharing a picture of director Sekhar Kammular and an exuberant Sai Pallavi.

Love Story had created quite a lot of excitement among fans after a preview promo for the 'Ay Pilla' song featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi received a terrific response. Sai Pallavi, who enjoys a strong fan following among Telugu audiences, will be looking to hit the bullseye and so will Naga Chaitanya want to carry forward the momentum of success from his Venky Mama released last year. Although the release plans are still being made, we can assume that the film will for the most part in theatres early next year. It wouldn't be a big surprise if the makers went ahead and revealed that Love Story would be a Valentine's Day release, which would be befitting and in tune with the film's title and theme.

Naga Chaitanya is reportedly playing the role of a Telangana youth in Love Story, which includes music composed by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman's student, Ch Pawan. Sai Pallavi will once again be appearing in a Telugu film after Padi Padi Leche Manasu in 2018. It is to be noted that the popular actress' last big role was the Suriya starrer NGK in Tamil under Selvaraghavan's direction, which came out last year. Love Story's supporting cast also includes names like Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali, Devayani among others.
