If there’s one film that has fans hooked with curiosity, it is without a doubt Dhanush’s Vada Chennai.
When the Vada Chennai teaser dropped online few days back, the anticipation sky-rocketed instantly with the immediate question being when the gangster action drama would hit screens.
That said, Dhanush took to his Twitter page to announce the release date of the Vetrimaaran directorial as October 17.
Produced by Wunderbar Films with music by Santhosh Narayanan, Vada Chennai includes a massive star cast featuring stars namely Samuthirakani, Ameer, Kishore, Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Pawan, Kishore, Daniel Balaji among others.
As for Vada Chennai's competition, the film will be coming out a day ahead of Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2, which had been announced to hit screens on October 18.
Directed by Lingusamy, Sandakozhi 2 too has generated a lot of expectations especially with its ensemble star cast featuring names like Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Rajkiran reprising his role from the 2005 blockbuster, Sandakozhi.
